This is a testimony from Tania Taylor, a dear friend from a town south of London, England. She and her husband Vince are sharing with me weekly in an online video Bible study. Here are some words that will boost your faith in God’s caring, powerful nature.

I have been suffering with a bad back for several months. A close friend was able to put me in contact with a consultant friend of his. In the UK, our medical issues require waiting lists!

I tried physio (physical therapy) but this didn’t work. So I requested a MRI scan to establish what was going on. The result was degenerative disease in my L3,4,5 discs. These discs were pushing on my right-hand nerve.

The conclusion with my consultant in August was to have steroid facet joint injections, which would take a minimum eight weeks for an appointment, though some have waited for up to a year. We have socialized medicine over here.

And so, I waited. Patiently.

Nothing came through. I went through my friend’s consultant who was trying his best to secure an appointment, but had himself just gone through back surgery.

As a ‘baby Christian,’ I have been very diligent with my faith and learning by reading the Bible and the Morning Devotion every day and making sure to include a Bible study once a week. So why was God letting me suffer?

Was I not worthy of his grace? He could remove my pain in the blink of an eye!

These questions I brought to Martin my pastor and his wife Lori. We prayed and asked God to intervene or at least give me the strength to endure the suffering.

The very next morning, I received a call from the hospital.

They had a vacancy the following week!

The timing was actually perfect, as I work shifts. The treatment date would be my last day at work before three days off over the weekend, enabling me to give my back some rest before going back to work without loosing too much pay!

Please say a prayer of thanks to God for how He has blessed Tania. He will be exalted. Her growing faith will bear long-distance faith through your life and the Enemy will hate it!
