Here’s a wonderfully uplifting reminder from today’s One-Year Bible reading…

“Our days on earth are like grass;
like wildflowers, we bloom and die.
The wind blows, and we are gone—
as though we had never been here.
But the love of the Lord remains forever
with those who fear him.
His salvation extends to the children’s children
of those who are faithful to his covenant,
of those who obey his commandments!”

(Psalm 103:15-18)

I love our grandkids and desire that they embrace the salvation promise upon which Lori and I have placed our eternal hopes.

That’s why it is essential for Lori and I to be faithful to our covenant with Christ and obedient to the teachings of scripture.

We’re not on this planet very long so let’s make sure that our lives and legacies reflect a faith that will bear fruit long after we’re gone.

As always, I love you
Martin
