  1. Welcome to my new means of communication about our amazing, gracious, patient, empowering Lord. Please be patient as I learn about this information platform. Perhaps you’ll help me to increase its effectiveness!

This is the BEST yet, Martin!!! I love the way you allow the Lord to work in you and through you. You are such an inspiration to me. You are always envisioning, always creating and making the world a better place. Thank you for all that the Morning Devotions have meant to me, helping me to grow and shape my faith. I love you. Lori

I enjoyed your MD dated May 28, Protection more important than prevention. Jn. 17:15 is a proof text for me against the pre-trib rapture, not that you quoted it in that context. I like the image of becoming “portable lighthouses in a world filled with pervasive darkness.” I like this format. Hopefully it will generate some responses from your readership.

Martin-Hi. We met once at an ICCC meeting and Luther just contacted you about your business. I look forward to meeting with you again.

As I read today’s message,I found my heart fill with a humility of character before Almighty God this morning. So many times in my life, as others, I have resisted His Grace. This year I vowed to God that I would resist, resisting Him. It has been a roller coaster ride, but the blessings upon blessings, wisdom and revelation I have recieved have been great. However, all of that still does not compare to hearing Him speak to my heart because of a willing heart. That heart of flesh, not stone He has been working out in me. Your written devotion worked to amplify my destier to stay on the poetter’s weheel in a challenging season for me.
    Thank you for being faithful.

Please visit http://www.manifest-destiny.tk and I hope it blesses you as you have blessed me.

    In His Loving Arms,
    Christopher

    Martin,
Thank you for the powerful lesson of today! The word picture and stick figure diagram is a perfect fit for this small town boy from Minnesota.
Naturally the key is our faithfulness and willingness to go to our knees each morning. As a former coach I understand the importance of disapline. We will play as we practice. Half hearted practice will produce less than satisfactory results. Daily regular exercise will produce a stronger body. Daily regular prayer and Bible study will produce a healthy spiritual foundation.
Follow the plan and watch the plant grow!
Thanks for providing the needed moisture.
Sincerely, your loving brother in Christ, Paul

“Test everything you consider believing against the assaying Word of God.

On Judgment Day, it won’t matter if your beliefs and practices are shiny. It will only matter if they are true and faithful to God.”

    Thanks – good word.
    love

    martin,

your such a great blessing through this site of yours. There is nothing greater than this-sharing the Living Word day by day!
It also encourages me to share the Word of God like this or by any means. Yes, like yours, like Joshua 1:8.

    God be glorified..

Glad to read from you. :)

True Christians really hunger of their spiritual food. How i wish i could fed by His Word everyday, day and night. But i must not lie that there are times I’m not faithful in my daily Quiet Time with my Father. Sad… I just want to tell to my Creator that He is AWESOME everyday and that i love Him.

However, every time i fail, i am always hopeful and trusting Him that i can still do that through Him and for Him. For Him nothing is impossible.

Well, truly our God is amazing. He knows i want it for Him. When i found your “morningdevotion” site He just let me dine with you. I’m not just blessed with what we ate but also how we met and ate together simply by your site! :)

Salvation is free, but to grow is somewhat every disciple’s responsibility. Your site challenged me to post my devotion too. By cyberspace may be or on our posting board. Simply to somehow push me to meditate His Word intentionally. Letting others know how God is so good to me. Inspire them also to have their daily devotion like how you inspire me.

You were just blessed to be a blessing.
    More power and blessings be.

    In Christ,
    joriel

  11. Joriel,

What a wonderful letter! I am always inspired and encouraged when I read words like these from people like you.

The fervor for faith that drips from your letter is something that I’d love to see among all believers.

Please tell me about your other writing efforts if you have such. It would also be nice to know a bit about your faith journey. This kind of information helps me to be better prepared for sharing the Word with my readers.

    Have a blessed day.

    Martin

    Hi Martin,

Nice to be here again! :)

Thanks God for the safe travel. I’ve just been from my hometown in Lobo, Batangas, Philippines, 37km from here in the city proper. I used to spent my weekend there for Worship Service and outreaches and get here back every Monday for work.

Aside from personal devotions and worship service every Sunday, we have our small groups during week days, here and there where my home-church (Sunshine Baptist Church) is. During our small group (young people), we give everyone an opportunity to share how God speak through our Quality Time. I’m excited to tell on our next small group on Friday about your site so they can visit and bless too. That is when they have given the opportunity to access it. :)

    Thanks.. :)
    We’ll be praying for you!

    joriel
