I’m glad that God’s love and rich promises aren’t just for A-list people.
From the time we’re little kids, we see how society shows favoritism to the beautiful people, the wealthy people, the athletic people and, begrudgingly, to the manipulatively violent people.

Christians don’t lose human yearnings just because they choose Jesus as their Savior.
We like having nice things just as do non-Christians.
It’s just that we are to make sure that our desire for nice things never displaces serving Jesus and other people ahead of ourselves.
