My eyelids are heavy this morning, even though I spent six hours in bed last night.
Of course, I didn’t sleep the instant I hit the mattress, so I actually slept something less than that.
Not enough sleep, I know.
This is my pattern and has been for many years.
Thank God for coffee.

Occasionally I am convicted by the Holy Spirit because I’ve been neglectful of adequately worshiping God during the day.
It is only proper that the Spirit prod my inner being into setting aside time at that moment for honoring God in a more fitting manner.
Sometimes I’ll stop to pray.
