Ephesians 2:10 says that Christians are saved in order to do good works for God.

If we’re providing godly encouragement and biblical advice to others, we’re doing the Ephesians 2:10 thing.

I call that “good cookin’ for Jesus.”

Here’s why:

“The lips of the righteous nourish many” (Proverbs 10:21)

Let’s look today at how our lives can better imitate Christ. We know that His life was righteous and the more that we’re like Him, the more righteous will be our words, nourishing many.

Please take an inventory of how many people in the past week have heard you say anything about faith and values.

If you’re like me, your “many” needs to include more people. So let’s get at it at work or school or in the neighborhood or at church.

As always, I love you
Martin
