Some people wonder why dedicated Christians are so loyal to their faith. Here’s a passage from Psalm 94:18-19 that speaks to that question:
“I cried out, ‘I am slipping!’ but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me.
“When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.”
We all know the great value of a friend upon whom we can count in the most difficult of times. Someone who encourages. Someone who helps. Someone who lifts us up when our emotional stamina is gone.
God has done this for me on multiple occasions. And I have complete confidence that He will do so again in my time of need.
Hope and cheer. They’ll always be yours when you make the Lord your God.
