The Bible paints a very clear, very simple picture of what it takes to have a fruitful, prosperous life.

It’s not dependent upon how attractive we are or how strong we are or how our bodies are shaped or on our family history.

It doesn’t depend on our ethnicity or nation of origin or of residence.

And it doesn’t depend upon how many diplomas we have.

Like I said, it’s a very simple picture of a very simple choice.

Read and meditate on the Bible.

It’s that simple.

“…they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.” (Psalm 1:2-3)

Bearing fruit without fail. Never losing my signs of life. Prospering — as per God’s definition — in all that I do.

These are promised to me as long as enrobe and enmesh myself with scripture.

It’s a no-brainer, really.

Treat people like Jesus treated people and the majority of them will not only like me but will do their best to help me.

That helps me to become more fruitful, more life-demonstrating, more prosperous. Particularly in the number and quality of my relationships.

Chief among those who will be trying to help me is my Abba Father.

Hmmmm….. God helping me and others helping me because I’m trying to live like Jesus?

How can I not have a better life as a result?

Let’s start delighting more in reading the Bible and meditating on the messages to our sanctification-needy hearts and minds.

There’s prosperity out there just waiting for us.

As always, I love you
Martin
